Best Paper Award:

Research paper entitled Tribological Performance of hard and wear resistance composite coating on modified titanium alloy surfaces under reciprocating sliding has been selected as the BEST PAPER and received GOLD medal in the international conference on Advances in Tribology (ICAT 14), organized by National Institute of Technology Calicut-Kerala during February 21-24, 2014.

TAFE Best Paper Award:

Received TAFE Best Paper Award for Tribological Characterization and study of hard coated surfaces using unidirectional sliding for the academic year 2011-12.

Patent:

Applied to get the patent for the invention of MULTI NUT REMOVER FOR AUTOMOBILES.

Consultancy Work:

• Consultancy work was carried out on Conveyor design for Moulden material transportation for the multinational company Melss automation. The project amount was Rs.60,000/-.

Research/Consultancy work Facility Development:

• Developed a Reciprocating Tribometer testing facility for friction and wear testing of engineering components which undergo bi-directional sliding.
