- Mr. M. Kishore of III year ECE had won SECOND place in The Swift, Fast Coding Competition conducted by the Association of Information Technologists along with Student Council of SVCE on 28-1-2022.
- Mr. Kishore, Mr. Nithin of III year ECE, Mr. V. S. Prithviraj and Ms.S.Lakshana of II year ECE, along with Mr.S.Tarun of III year CSE has participated and won SECOND PLACE in the IEI HACKATHON conducted by the IEI Students Chapter of SRM Institute of Science and Technology,Vadapalani on 29th and 30th January 2022.
- Mr. M. Kishore and Mr.Maheeraj of III year ECE had won THIRD place in Hack-o-holic conducted by the Student Council of SVCE.
- Mr. M. Kishore, III year ECE B student had completed 9 weeks internship on Flutter App Development (Front end) from 25th April to 30th June 2021 with Smartrobos Technologies Pvt Ltd. He has developed Mobile Application front end UI using Flutter and handled two real time projects on Subscription Manager and Covid Vaccine slot app. He received a stipend of Rs 10000/- as well.

- Gayathri B, third year was Runner up in CIRCUITRIX21 organized by IEEE Student Branch, SVCE on 31/5/2021.

- Amalan Valliappan M P, Mr. Arvind D, Mr. Aarshik B, Ms. Aswine R, Final year students was Runner up in Protocol '21-Web Design event at SVCE on 17/05/2021.
- Hari Kheshav S K, Final year won First Prize and received the Cash Prize of Rs.500/- in Idea Jam organized by SVCE ACM Students’ Chapter on 28/03/2021.
- Durga G, third year won First place in Crypto em held during online symposium Upagaraha-21, organized by ECE Association, SVCE on 7/5/2021.
- Amirta Josna B, third year was Winner in 2k21-Symosium - Wartech in pranav, at Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College on 29/04/2021.
- J P J FIONA of III year ECE, received second Prize in 2 days National Level Technical Event (TECHNORUSH-Techpirates) on 10/10/2020 organized by ECE Association.
- Rakesh Velavaluri and M S Vignesh of 1st year ECE department have placed Third with a cash prize of Rs 400 in CIRCUIT DEBUGGING at SRM INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, Vadapalani Chennai on 25th February 2020.

- B.Akilesh Kumar and A.Kenwin Patrick of I year ECE received First Prize in Circuit Debugging from The Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Vadapalani Campus on the 25th of February 2020.
- S. Prem Raj and S. Lokesh of III year ECE received an Award of Appreciation for their project First Response Drone mentored by T.J.Jeyaprabha, Assistant professor ECE Department. The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) at SRM Institute of Science and Technology Vadapalani Campus on the 25th of February 2020 for their achievements in Project Expo organized during IETE Zonal Seminar at Sri Sairam College of Engineering, Chennai on 20th – 21st Sep 2019 and in IETE Innovation Meet at Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College, Mumbai on 21st Oct 2019. The same is been telecasted in DD on 25th Feb 2020.

- S.Prem Raj, S.Lokesh, Rahil H Sakariya and Abirami S of III Year ECE Department has placed FIRST in Make-A-Thon 2.0 for their project Woman Safety Coat at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering held from 7th to 8th February 2020 (24 Hrs) organized by ECE Association in association with IETE-SF.
- Vignesh M, Vigneshwar S J, Vignesh T J and Kavya E of III Year ECE won BEST USER INTERFACE AWARD during Make-A-Thon 2.0 at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering held from 7th to 8th February 2020 (24 Hrs) organized by ECE Association in association with IETE-SF.
- Sakthi Saileshram of III Year ECE along with Swetha of III Year EEE won BEST FEASIBLE PRODUCT AWARD during Make-A-Thon 2.0 at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering held from 7th to 8th February 2020 (24 Hrs) organized by ECE Association in association with IETE-SF.
- The ECE department students and faculty members participated in the IETE Zonal Seminar on “SMART ENGINEERING FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT” and ISF Congress organized by IETE Chennai Centre, hosted by Sri Sairam Engineering College, on 20th and 21st September 2019. Project on “Intelligent drainage cleaning using robot arm”, by Shruthi Sharada, Raksha and Saranya of III Year ECE received first prize in Paper Presentation.
- Keshav E and Vinothini S of III year ECE secured first prize in makeathon and second prize in megaevent and third place in circuitrix at Pranav 2k19 held at Meenakshi Sundaram College of Engineering on 07/01/2020

- 3rd in Values in business "ENANTRA 2020" was organized by the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Anna University during 20th to 23rd of February 2020. Its is one of the largest Youth Entrepreneurship Fests in the state
