• Ms. Thulasi Kalaivani B and Mr. K. Gopikrishnan, of B. Tech Biotechnology (2019-2023), has been honoured with the ‘Budding Bright Engineer Award’ from Biotechnology for their outstanding academic performance throughout academic journey at SVCE.
• Mr. Nithin Raj S, B. Tech Biotechnology (2019-2023), has been awarded the Outstanding Biotechnology Student Award for his exceptional performance throughout his academic journey at SVCE.
• Ms. Abi Sherlin. E, of M. Tech Biotechnology (2021-2023), M. Tech Biotechnology has received the Outstanding PG Student Award for her exceptional academic performance at SVCE.
• Ms. Anushya N and Ms. Parinitha S secured second place in Idea competition of Two-day national level conference BIODRASILLENC E – VT’23, at Vel Tech High Tech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College, at Vel Tech High Tech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College on 27.04.2023 - 28.04.2023.
• Mr. Nandakishor V, Mr. Srihari Prasath R, Mr. Harrish S A of B. Tech Biotechnology (2021-2025), secured Second place in the idea presentation event, BIOTIKOS, SAMHITHA 2023 for the paper titled "Water Hyacinth Bio Briquettes" at SASTRA University on 08.04.2023.
• Ms. Hemapriya S K of B. Tech Biotechnology (2021-2025), secured First place in the Poster presentation event, BIOTIKOS, SAMHITHA 2023 for the paper titled "Bioprocessing of a municipal waste handy biocomposter at a doorstep" at SASTRA University on 08.04.2023.
• Ms. Abinaya T and Mr. Arun Pravin CV of B. Tech Biotechnology (2021-2025), secured First place and cash price Rs. 500 in the idea presentation event, BIOTIKOS, SAMHITHA 2023 for the paper titled "Microbial method of removal of Microplastic and Heavy metals from water bodies using biofilm" at SASTRA University, on 08.04.2023.
• Ms. Ananya R C, Ms. Kirtana S, and Ms. Lavanya J of B. Tech Biotechnology (2020-2024), presented a poster on the topic “Real-time monitoring and controlling device for hypoglycemia in elderly personnel” and secured the first position in the two-day national level conference BIODRASILLENCE – VT’23, at Vel Tech High Tech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College on 27.04.2023 - 28.04.2023.
• Mr. Deva S M. Tech Biotechnology (2021 - 2023), secured the second position in idea presentation on the topic “Artificial intelligence in the assessment of the toxicity of Indian herbal medicines” and received a cash prize of Rs. 700 in the International Conference on “Embracing biotechnology for a sustainable future” held at Rajalakshmi Engineering College on 10.03.2023 - 11.03.2023.
• Mr. Jayaraman R, Ms. Nithyasree V, and Ms. Varshini K R of B. Tech Biotechnology (2020-2024), secured the first position in idea presentation on the topic “Upcycling of plastic into biodegradable plastic” and received a cash prize of Rs. 1000 in the International Conference on “Embracing biotechnology for a sustainable future” held at Rajalakshmi Engineering College on 10.03.2023 - 11.03.2023.
• Ms. Harini B of B. Tech Biotechnology (2020-2024), has been selected for the prestigious Science Academies’ Summer Fellowship Programme (SRFP 2023). She has been selected to work under the guidance of Prof. Surendra Kumar Sharma at the Department of Molecular Medicine, Jamia Hamdard Institute of Molecular Medicine, New Delhi. She will be receiving a fellowship of Rs. 10,000/- per month for the duration of two months.
• Ms. Kamalavarshini B and Ms. Harini Sundar B. Tech Biotechnology (2019-2023), First Prize with cash prize of Rs. 3,000/- for the oral presentation entitled titled "Multi-Staged Gene Expression Profiling Reveals Potential Genes and the Critical Pathways in Renal Cell Carcinoma" in the National Biotechnology symposium organized by IE-BIOTECH, Manipal Chapter and Department of Biotechnology, MIT-Manipal on 11.11.2022.
• Ms. Priyanka Raj, B. Tech Biotechnology (2021-2025), received Best Marketing Strategy Award in the 24-hour event Bug to Business'22 organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering during 05.11.2022 - 06.11.2022.
• Ms. Akshara B S, B. Tech Biotechnology (2020-2024), was a part of the team that secured the First Place for the product called Mobocart, in the 24-hour event Bug to Business'22 organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering during 5.11.2022 – 6.11.2022.th November, 2022.
• Ms. Divyasakthi M and Nithin Raj S secured First Prize for the poster presentation titled "Evaluation of Anti-acne activity of squid based hydroxyapatite nanoparticles" in the International Conference on "Emerging Technologies for a Sustainable Food Industry" organized by Rajalakshmi Engineering College. 28.10.2022 to 29.10.2022.
• Mr. V. Vikkram, IV-Year (B. Tech, 2018-22 Batch) won best poster award for a presentation titled "Exploration of an extracellular polymeric substance from earthworm mid-gut bacterium for heavy metals removal potential" at 32nd National Level Technical Symposium conducted by Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Annamalai University on 21.04.2022.
• Mr. S. Sakthivel and Mr. Y. Udayarajan, II-Year (2020-24 Batch) won first prize for the poster entitled “Corrosion behavior of Ti Based Alloys for Bioimplant applications: Role of surface mechanical attrition treatment at National corrosion awareness day conducted by CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi on 21.04.2022.
• Ms. S. Kawya, II-Year (M. Tech, 2020-22 Batch) presented a poster entitled “Preparation and quality evaluation of biscuits supplemented with vitamin B6 from Hydrilla verticillate” secured first prize in SVCE Innovates 2022 held at SVCE on 08.04.2022.
• Ms. K. Madhumitha, Ms. M. Mathumithaa Rao, II-Year (B.Tech, 2020-2024 batch) presented a poster entitled “Hydroponics- The urban farming” secured second prize in SVCE Innovates 2022 held at SVCE on 08.04.2022.
• Mr. Y. Udayarajan, Mr. V.O.A. Mohamed Shadir, II-Year (B.Tech, 2020-2024 batch) presented a poster entitled “Aquarium related nitrogen reprocess” secured second prize in SVCE Innovates 2022 held at SVCE on 08.04.2022.
• Ms. P. M. Sarvika, Ms. V. Shruthi, Ms. V. H. Umadevi, III-Year (B.Tech, 2019-2023 batch) presented a poster entitled “Bioactives embedded respiratory mask against MASKNE” secured third prize in SVCE Innovates 2022 held at SVCE on 08.04.2022.
• Ms. Shakunthala. N , Ms. Selvapriya. D , IV year Biotechnology, received best paper presentation award in International Conference on Green Materials and Renewable Energy (ICGMRE-2021),for presentation entitled Design and construction of a photobioreactor for production of biosurfactants from microalgae, organized by department of Applied chemistry and Chemical Engineering, SVCE during 10.06.2022 to 11.06.2021.
• Ms. A. Bhuvaneshwari Janani and Ms. M. Arya, IV year Biotechnology, received best oral presentation award for the paper presented on "Microbial Biotransformation and Degradation of Antibiotics using Antimicrobial Resistant Microbiome" in the Two-Day Online National Conference on Biological, Biochemical, Biomedical, Bioenergy and Environmental Biotechnology (NCB4EBT-2021) organised by Department of Biotechnology, National Institute of Technology, Warangal, during 29.01.2021 to 30.01.2021.
• Mr. J. Anirudh, won E-Poster Presentation (Runner-Up) in the event OMICS (14^th edition) organised by Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering on 07.05.2021.
• Ms. R. Rajashree, won E-Poster Presentation (Winner) in the event OMICS (14^th edition) organised by Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering on 07.05.2021.
• Ms. PM. Sarvika, won LOGO Designing (Winner) in the event OMICS (14^th edition) organised by Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering on 07.05.2021.
• Mr. R. Sharath, won E-Poster Presentation (Runner-Up) in the event OMICS (14^th edition) organised by Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering on 07.05.2021.
• Ms. S. Sri Nithya, won E-Poster Presentation (Winner) in the event OMICS (14^th edition) organised by Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering on 07.05.2021.
• Ms. M. Sowdhamini, Ms. Sushmitha Magesh, Ms. Swetha Magesh, and Ms. Shreya Srinivasan won Third prize in the event Bio-Hackathon'21 organised by M/s. GeneBloc, Bengaluru.
• Nivethitha Srinivaas and Ms. Prianka M of B.Tech Biotechnology presented a paper entitled Production of Biodegradable surgical gloves in National conference held at Rajalakshmi Engineeering College, Thandalam during the academic year 2016-2017 and had won 2^nd prize
• Akilan A. Mr. Ashwin Sai Murali. N and Mr. Vignesh G of B.Tech Biotechnology presented a model entitled Bioplastic from potato starch in National symposium, Omics-2016 held at SVCE, Sriperumbudur during the academic year 2016-2017 and had won 2^nd prize
• Lokapriya D and Ms. Lavanya J of B.Tech Biotechnology presented a paper entitled Urban Farming in National conference held at Alagappa College of Technology, Chennai during the academic year 2016-2017 and had won 1^st prize
• Aparna Madan and Ms. Hamsikha N of B.Tech Biotechnology presented a model entitled Neuromuscular Junction in National Symposium held at SVCE, Sriperumbudur during the academic year 2016-2017 and had won 1^st prize
• Jeyapratha V. Ms. Lokapriya D and Ms. Meena A of B.Tech Biotechnology presented a model entitled Microbial Fuel Cell in National Symposium Omics-2016 held at SVCE, Sriperumbudur during the academic year 2016-2017 and had won 2^nd prize
• Rupesh Balaji J and Mr. Karthikeyan K R of B.Tech Biotechnology presented a poster entitled Biotechnology for sustainable development on title Characterization Chlorella sp. SSKV1 for biodiesel production in National conference held at Arunai Engineering College, Thiruvannamalai during the academic year 2017-2018 and had won Best poster award
• Vignesh G and Mr. Ashwin Sai Murali. N of B.Tech Biotechnology presented a poster entitled Designing of mosquito repellants using Solar Energy and Bioliquid in National conference on emerging trends in smart materials during the academic year 2017-2018 and had won 1^st prize
• Aparna Madan, Ms. Lakshmi S, Ms. Mahalakshmi V, Mr. Vignesh G of B.Tech Biotechnology presented a paper entitled Design and construction of novel genetic circuits using temperature and pH based regulatory parts in National conference held at MIT, Boston during the academic year 2017-2018 and had won Silver medal
• Hamsikha N of B.Tech Biotechnology presented a paper entitled Quality Detection System in Tamil Nadu Students Innovator program held at Forge Incubator, Coimbatore during the academic year 2017-2018 and had won cash prize of Rs.25,000/-
• Ishwarya N K of B.Tech Biotechnology presented a paper entitled All in one green coffee enriched with chorogenic acid in SVCE Innovates held at SVCE, Sriperumbudur during the academic year 2017-2018 and had won 3^rd prize
