Academic Year 2021 - 22
• Third year B.E Automobile Engineering students visited JBM Auto Limited, Maraimalainagar in two batches on 2nd December 2021 and 3rd December 2021. On 2nd December 2021 , the batch was accompanied by Mr. A. K. Boobalasenthilraj, Assistant Professor and Mr. J. Balakrishnan, Mechanic. On 3rd December 2021 , the batch was accompanied by Mr. J. Dhanabal & Mr. G. Ravi Assistant Professor and Mr. R. Ramesh, Mechanic.
• Mr. M. Manoj Prakashan and Mr. Darshan Somani, Final Year B.E. Automobile Engineering participated in PALS Virtual Industry Visit organized by SIEMENS GAMESA, Zamudio (Vizcaya, Spain)on 15th December 2021.
• Mr. K. C. Jayakar, Mr. R. Pughazenthi, Mr. M. Gowtham, Final Year B.E. Automobile Engineering and Mr. M. Kishore kumar, Mr. K. Viswa, Third Year B.E. Automobile Engineering participated in PALS Virtual Industry Visit organized by Shanthi Gears, Coimbatore on 31st January 2022.
• First year B.E Automobile Engineering students visited SRV Engineering, Kundrathur on 16th February 2022 accompanied by Mr. A. Balasubramanian, Assistant Professor.
• Mr. G. Nandagopal, Mr. R. Pughazenthi, Mr. M. Gowtham, Final Year B.E. Automobile Engineering and Mr. SP. Solaiyappan, Third Year B.E. Automobile Engineering participated in PALS Virtual Industry Visit organized by SUMEDHAS, Bangalore on 18th February 2022.
• Second B.E Automobile Engineering students visited Sundram Fasteners Limited , Maraimalainagar, on 13th April 2022, accompanied by Mr. Ramanjaneyulu Kolla, Assistant Professor and Mr. R. Ramesh, Mechanic.

• Mr. Karthikeyeyan. S of Second year B.E Automobile Engineering has won and secured first position in the event Aero-Modelling during the National level Technical Symposium "IGNITION 19" conducted by society of Mechanical engineers on 27/9/2019.
• Mr. Nithesh. R.B, a student of Second year B.E Automobile Engineering has participated in the technical event "ARCADE" and won the I Prize, conducted at INVENTE 4.0 - A National Level Techfest organized by SSN College of Engineering on 13th and 14th September 2019.
• Mr.Yokesh Kumar. R of Second year B.E Automobile Engineering have participated in the National level Tech Quest project display organized by Caterpillar at Thiruvallur on 8/10/2019.
• Mr.Nithesh R. B of Second year B.E Automobile Engineering has got second place and won Rs. 2000 of cash prize in the event "How stuff works", organized by Kurukshetra 2020, CEG, Anna University on 12th to 16th February 2020.
• Lohit S, Tamil Arasan S, Kamesh B, Pugalenthi R, Gowtham M, of Second year B.E Automobile Engineering has participated in Auto Quiz at TURBO 2020, a National Level Technical Symposium held at a Rajalakshmi Engineering College on 6th january 2020.
• Nitheesh R.B, YOKESH KUMAAR.R, KAMALESH D, MANOJPRAKASHAN R of second year Automobile Engineering have Secured first place in a Zonal level PALS QUEST event held at Rajalakshmi Engineering College on 28th january 2020.
• Students of Third year B.E Automobile Engineering organized a one day workshop on "3D printing and Dismantling and Assembling of IC engines" under the guidance of Dr. J. Venkatesan HoD/AUT and Mr. G. Ravi Assistant professor, Department of Automobile Engineering during the National Level Technical Symposium on 25th September 2019.

• Mr. D. Kamalesh. Mr. A. V. J Nithish Varadhan and Mr. Sudharasan. S, second year automobile engineering students attended a one day guest lecture on "Machine learning- Introduction" at Alpha College of Engineering on 06.08.2019.
• Mr. R. Pugazenthi, Mr. S. Lohith, Mr. Akash Mohan, Mr. Shanmugam and Mr. S. Saran Raj, second year automobile engineering students, attended a four day FKDC workshop at Pune from 29.07.2019 to 01.08.2019.
• Mr. J. Shoab Akthar, a second year automobile engineering student attended a one day guest lecture at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) on 30.07.2019.
Academic Year 2018 - 19
• Nithesh.A (II year Automobile ) has secured First place in the event Allterrain Vehicle Conducted in AUTOMEET'19, on February 8th and 9th of 2019, at Madras Institute of technology Campus, Anna University, Chennai.
• Nithesh. A (II year Automobile ) has secured Third place in the event RC Car Racing Conducted in 13th National Level Technical Symposium McAdroit'19, on 12th February 2019, at Easwari Engineering College, Chennai.

Academic Year 2017 - 18
• The students of III Year B.E. Automobile Engineering  Mithun. S.R and Prasanna Venkatesh. Bhave  received the Unique Idea Award in the competition TAFE INNOVISTA SEASON III, for their project titled "The Friction Finder" on 5th January 2018, awarded by TAFE Ltd., Chennai. Mentored by  Mr. A.K. Boobalasenthilraj, Assistant Professor.
• The students of IV Year B.E. Automobile Engineering  Sai bernard. Y and V. Sudarsan have  received the Best Auto Solution Award 2018 in the competition TAFE INNOVISTA SEASON III, for their project titled "Design of intelligent fuel injection system for controlling wheel torque" on 5th January 2018, awarded by TAFE Ltd., Chennai. Mentored by  Dr. V. Ganesh, Associate Professor.
• The students of B.E. Automobile Engineering (2013-17 Batch)  Sakthish Charan P, Mr. Sai Krishna B, Mr. Chidambaram SP  and Mr. Saravanan K  have  received the Innovative Student Project Award at Bachelor Level - 2017 for their project titled "Design of variable braking system using intelligent dual calipers"on 15^th December 2017, awarded by Indian National Academy of Engineering, New Delhi, India. The mentor of the project work is Dr. V. Ganesh, Associate Professor, Department of Automobile Engineering.
