About the Department

The Department of Automobile Engineering was started in the year 1999 with sanctioned intake of 30. The intake was increased from 30 to 60 in the year 2009. The department has well-qualified and experienced faculty and staff members of proven ability and administrative skills. It has well equipped state-of-the-art laboratories that cater to the needs of the students.The department is actively engaged in teaching and research in the areas of Automobile Engineering and related areas. The department is accredited by National Board of Accreditation till June 2025. A new program B.E. Mechanical Engineering (Automobile) will be started from AY 2024-25.
